Sydney found her TOES!

It's another big accomplishment for Miss Sydney Claire! She recently became really interested in her feet and now she loves to grab onto and hold her toes. It's too cute!

Sydney + Madison=BFF

Madison was born 15 days after Sydney so Brooke and I have decided that they have to be best friends! Here they are--Sydney is 3.5 months and Madison is 3 months.

Fun at Hawaiian Falls

Craig's parents and his nephews (Coltin & Dustin) came in town this past weekend. Since Craig decided to take Friday off, we thought it would be fun to take everyone to Hawaiian Falls. I took McNeil & Sami (the kids I'm watching over the summer) & Sydney and we met up with Craig's family. All the kids had a blast playing in the kids area and going down the same slides over and over. They also really loved the lazy river which was great for all the adults! Theresa watched Sydney the whole time so I could get in the water and have fun too. Craig and I both ended up with pretty bad sunburns but it was worth it because we had such a great time!

Sydney rolled over!!!

I couldn't believe it! I had her on her stomach today doing some tummy time and then just like that she rolled over to her back. As soon as I got her home today, I got out the video camera and the digital camera and caught her rolling over on film. Here's the pics I took of her. I'm so proud!!

Dip in the Pool

Well today was the first day in what seems like forever that the sun was shining in Dallas. So Craig and I decided to head down to the pool and take Sydney for her first swim. She loves bath time so we figured that she would love the pool just as much. I think we were right! She had a great time with Daddy in the water!

First 4th of July!

For the 4th of July, we went over to Justin and Joanna McCord's house for a little bar-b-que. Justin grilled burgers and hotdogs and of course it rained. The Leach's came (and brought Geogia--their dog) and so did the McKelvey's and the Kouba's. All the babies had a great time playing with each other and the dogs. It was Sydney's first official holiday (that she could celebrate) so we had a great time taking pictures of her in her 4th of July outfit.

Big girl in her Bebe Pod!

Sydney is finally able to sit in her Bebe Pod all by herself! For those who don't know, a Bebe Pod (same thing as a Bumbo seat) is a chair that helps babies sit up before they are actually able to do it on their own. She loves to sit in it and watch all the lights and colors on the TV. She's not picky about what's on as long as there are lots of colors and it keeps moving. I'm sure it's no surprise to anyone that we're usually watching Food Network together! Maybe she'll grow up to be a famous chef one day! (or just cook dinner for her awesome parents!)

Nana and Grandpa

Sydney got to hang out with Nana and Grandpa recently and she just loved it. She loves when Nana talks to her and pretends like she understands everything Sydney is "saying" to her. She also loves taking a nap on Grandpa--he's so comfy!

Three months old!

I can't believe that Sydney is 3 months old--that's a quarter of a year already!! Well I thought I would update everyone on everything she is doing now. She is now sleeping 10 hours at night (yippee!) and has officially grown out of her 0-3 month pajamas. The 3-6 month ones are a little too big still but the 0-3 month ones had gotten so short that she couldn't straighten her legs anymore! She smiles all the time and I think we've even heard a couple of laughs. Just the other day while she was doing some tummy time, she propped herself up on her elbows so I snatched a quick picture of that on my phone. I was so proud! She also loves to "talk" to everyone and all of her toys. She still hasn't rolled over yet but I know that will come when she's ready. Here's some pics I took of her on her 3 month birthday.
